Hollywood Actress
Result: Strong exposure in new target markets
A
Christian Hollywood actress hired us to help her
bridge the gap between artistic and faith communities. She
desired to use her experience as an actress to encourage
audiences, both Christian and secular, to seek truth and hope in
God. Our challenge was to determine how best to publicize
scheduled appearances before target audiences, both locally and
nationally. With an extensive network of contacts, we
successfully placed the actress on key radio and TV programs,
and gained her access to critical print media outlets. The
result of our efforts was strong exposure in important new
target markets that is helping her realize her ministry goals.

Result: Complete reversal of a poor reputation with
the
news media
An
elected official was constantly receiving bad press. The media
didn’t trust him. He hired us to solve the problem.
We approached various media outlets to discern why they held
such negative opinions of our client. We learned of our
client’s history of lying to and manipulating the press. We
coached and guided our client on how to deal with the press with
honesty and integrity, and provided close oversight of all his
interactions with the media. We succeeded in facilitating a
trusting relationship between our client and the media.
Before our client hired us, 75% of the client’s press
was negative. After he engaged our services, 90% of the client’s
press was either positive or neutral.

Christian political candidate
Result: Victory at the polls
Our
client, a staunch opponent of abortion, needed to promote his
position on abortion to pro-lifers in a specific demographic
group. This group needed to support him at the polls or it
would cost him the election, with a pro-choice candidate taking
the seat. We developed a comprehensive strategy to
ensure this critical voter segment appeared at the polls. We
designed effective radio, TV, and print ads and carefully placed
them in the right outlets to reach the target population as
effectively and inexpensively as possible. Tracking polls
determined that our ads moved massive numbers of voters to the
polls—and our client won the election.

Client:
Group opposing right to die referendum in
Washington State
Result: Successful defeat of the referendum
Voters in the state of Washington were expected to support a
referendum supporting euthanasia—the media was anticipating a
landslide victory of this controversial initiative. We were
hired to develop a campaign to ensure its defeat. Our creative
team developed a powerful commercial telling the story of a
terminally ill woman who was diagnosed by doctors to live only a
matter of weeks. Had euthanasia been an option at that time, she
would have taken it. The doctors were wrong, however, and she
lived another 7 years—during which time she watched her young
daughter grow up. Our commercial had a profound impact on
voters and the referendum was defeated 54-56. Our efforts
turned a sure victory into a celebrated defeat.

Internet security company
Result: Positive worldwide press from a previously
skeptical media
We were hired to convince the media of the
effectiveness of a new product that would enable secure consumer
purchasing via the Internet. The media was unconvinced of the
product’s value, so we had attitudes to change. We decided to
hold a press conference—but with a creative twist. We invited
key members of the media to Washington, DC’s National Press Club
and ordered a pizza lunch for all attendees via the Internet
using the new product. Our live demo was a success and the
media gained a new, highly favorable view of our client’s
product. The result of our efforts was
positive press around the globe—from DC to Europe to
Taiwan—describing how this new product would revolutionize the
commercialization of the Internet.

Client:
Worldwide Christian Ministry
Result: More favorable treatment by the media
The
husband and wife team of a well-known religious ministry was
involved in major scandal. An investigative reporter was
threatening to publish a comprehensive story that would have
irreversibly harmed the entire ministry. We were
hired to improve the ministry’s standing with the press. We
trained our client on how to work with the media to encourage it
to shift its position from complete negativity to a more
temperate viewpoint. We counseled them on how to emphasize
positive aspects of the ministry and de-emphasize their
scandalous acts. The press did not write a negative story
for several months, and when the story was eventually released,
our client was able to have some control over its content,
thereby reducing its negative impact.
